The International Space Science Organisation (ISSO) was created after rivalries between countries surfaced due to land disputes on the Moon.

Studies on the Moon are decided by ISSO and are financed by any nations interested in conducting research in space.

Politicians are putting pressure on ISSO to deny access to smaller nations in order to maintain power.

The general public is beginning to pressure ISSO for a more transparent operation in order to try decrease illegal activities and understand where the money invested in this is going.

The private sector is putting pressure on ISSO to accept not only nations to go to the moon but also corporations. As it stands, only corporations hired by governments can conduct research on the Moon.

A loophole in law has enabled researchers to use methodolgy that is currently illegal on Earth without repercussions. This has led to a multitude of advances in technology but also to development of outright harmful drugs.
